Super Gym is a partner in your body transformation commitment. Furthermore, we exist to help you make the most informed decisions and get the maximum results.

    BODY BUILDING

It is very important to have high quality equipment available so that you can perform your exercises correctly and get the results that you deserve. Unfortunately there is lots of low quality equipment on the market that will not allow you to perform quality reps, resulting in little or no muscle growth. I describe here the equipment that is needed to do the recommended exercises, and discuss the most critical aspects of these machines.

    BODY BUILDING DIET

A bodybuilding diet generally contains 2,500– 5,500 calories per day for men and 1,500–3,000 calories daily for women, depending on the types and levels of exercise. The diet’s ratio of protein, carbohydrates, and fat can differ. Some programs recommend 40% carbohydrates, 40% protein, and 20% fats. Others suggest a ratio of 40% protein, 30% carbohydrates, and 30% fat. There are many variations of this diet where the calorie intake and ratios are different. Most bodybuilding diets include nutritional supplements as well as protein powders. The focus of bodybuilding has shifted away from an emphasis on health toward an emphasis on appearance at all costs. To achieve a bigger, better body, many bodybuilders have placed a huge emphasis on nutritional and other types of supplements, including the illegal use of steroids.

All diets require an exercise routine of three to seven days a week, usually with weightlifting and cardiovascular exercises. The body burns up to 50 calories per day for every pound of muscle. So adding 10 pounds of muscle can burn up to 500 extra calories each day. The exact diet and exercise routine can vary greatly and can be confusing, especially to people new to bodybuilding. When it comes to either diet or exercise, no two people follow the same routine.

    AEROBICS CLASS

A high energy class using fast-paced movements, sequences and steps; it’s a great fat burning activity while improving stamina and muscle tone. Variations include the use of the stepper and light dumbbells to make it a total body workout. Searching for a fun way to burn fat? Head to one of our aerobics classes and work up a sweat to some of your favourite songs. It might not be as trendy as Zumba or yoga these days, but aerobics is still a brilliant way to burn calories, improve stamina, condition muscle and strengthen bones. Energetic and fast-paced, aerobics involves completing a set sequence of steps and exercises that work multiple parts of the body. The different steps often involve weights, dumbbells and boxsteps, which tone the arms, legs, core and glutes. A Fitness First aerobics class is guaranteed to leave you in a good mood too. Although the aerobics routines are set to work you hard, the atmosphere is always fun and relaxed, and thanks to the upbeat chart hits and the uplifting endorphins released in the brain when you work out, aerobics is the ultimate stress buster. We offer aerobics classes at most of our gyms, which run for 45 minutes to an hour. All of our classes are taught by expert fitness trainers and all equipment is provided. Plus we have virtual options in some of our clubs featuring a warmup, series of aerobic moves and finally stretching.

    SPINNING

Spinning provides an intense cardio workout which is ideal for burning fat and increasing all round fitness.

The best thing about Spin classes is that they can cater to all ability and fitness levels simultaneously. You control your own resistance and speed allowing you to continuously make progress whilst still being able to keep up with the class.

    YOGA

Doing yoga or hitting the gym – too difficult a choice to make? Let’s make things easier and look at both not as rivals but close allies. Yes, yoga can be a perfect complement to your body workout and actually add to the benefits you derive from it.

The best part is, you can continue with your daily workout routine just the way it is now and simply add a few minutes of yoga practice to it for better results.

    FIT AND FUNCTIONAL

At the most basic level, functional fitness refers to exercises that improve daily activity. Functional exercise challenges balance and coordination while simultaneously improving strength and range of motion.A functional exercise should be a multi-joint exercise and, ideally, it should work the upper and lower body. It’s all about creating synergy within our body. In daily activities, we utilize our body as a whole — even though an activity may be more upper- or lower-body dominant, we still rely on the other half for stability and support.

No matter what your fitness level, we have a fitness class that suits you. At Nitro Gym, our personal trainers can help you decide which class will be suitable to your level.
