Rita’s Ice

The popular chain offers many mouth-watering options that combine their famous Italian Ice and award-winning Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard, including layered Gelati, blended Misto® Shake, and a personalized Blendini® which mixes Italian Ice, Frozen Custard and a delicious topping. Rita’s also has unique Milkshakes made with Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard, Frozen Drinks and Custard Cookie Sandwiches.

Rita’s story began when former Philadelphia fire-fighter Bob Tumolo started selling Italian Ice from a small porch window in Bensalem, Pennsylvania and named the company after his wife. In 1989, Bob started franchising the business and by 1996, Rita’s had grown to more than 100 outlets in nine states. At Rita’s freshness is everything and all its creations are made daily with real fruit.

eathos plans to open 46 Rita’s outlets across the MENAT region, starting with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
